Pixel World: privacy
Last updated 21 October 2026
Who can play
Pixel World is for players aged 13 and over. Before you start we ask for your birth month and year; if you are under 13 you can't play. Your birth month and year stay in your browser; the game server checks them when you join and does not keep them.
What stays on your device
- The key to your character (so you don't need a password), your character's name and look, your birth month and year, and a random id for this browser.
- Small settings, such as whether the key hints are hidden.
Clearing your browser's site data removes them. Without a Google sign-in, that also loses your character.
What the game server keeps
- Your character: its name, look, bag, gear, house, farm, progress, contacts and market listings.
- If you sign in with Google: only Google's account id, so you can get your character back on another device. We don't get your email address or anything else from Google.
- Chat is not stored. When someone reports a player, the chat around the report is kept so a moderator can read it.
- For guests who are muted or banned: the random id of their browser.
- Visitor counts: a scrambled code made from your network address and browser, changed every day so you can't be followed from one day to the next, plus which site sent you here. Daily totals are kept for 120 days.
The server runs on Google Cloud, with a backup copy of characters in Google Firestore.
Ads
Pixel World may show ads from Google AdSense, including videos you can choose to watch for an in-game reward. Google and its partners may use cookies to show ads and measure them. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland you are asked for consent first. Players under 16 are only shown ads that are not personalised. Read how Google uses data from sites that use its services, and change ad personalisation in Google's ad settings.
Deleting your data
To have your character and everything kept about it deleted, write to support@dreamoutstudios.com with your character's name.
